I saw Sahara about two-three weeks ago and the other day I saw The Phantom of The Opera, it was really good and the people I was watching the movie with made it even better.

I agree with you on The Phantom of The Opera Catlynelizabeth. I know the video is already out and definitely going to go buy it!! I saw it in the theatre when it first came out and I haven't seen the play but the movie took my breathe away it was so good! happy.gif

I liked Troy. I saw it a couple of times too. I must see this movie Kingdom Of Heaven with Orlando Bloom....the lines are long I will wait until the lines go down.

Watched a few movies in the last few weeks
"Birth"... had Nicole Kidman (always a plus); interesting movie that explores memory, love, and loss in a reincarnated way. Not bad.

"Hotel Rwanda"... saw this flick at local theatre, and after the movie the gentleman the movie was based upon spoke. Moving.

"Lemony Snicket"..... ok. My youngest kid enjoyed it.

"Aimee and Jacquar"... German film set in WWII, and the unlikely love affair between a Jew and a Nazi. Based on a true story. Wasn't too sure about this one at first, but turned out very good. rolleyes.gif

"Highlander"... always great, even after 20 times or so.

"House of Flying Daggers.... fantastic thumbs_up.gif

....ahhhhhh, yes,......Mel, he is wonderful.  biggrin.gif

Though, I must admit Viggo Mortensen is right up there too!
In agreement, 'Long Live King Aragorn!!'
I'm hoping LOTR gets the Academy Awards it so deserves this time 'round.

though it is more than deserved in my opinion, because it's not made in conjunction with hollywood california,I'm guessing it won't get it.
I've seen them & I think they're absolutly wonderful movies!

Yes Rindy you absolutely must!
Saw it last night and loved it!!
Great action, good message for us today. Orlando Bloom was good but the supporting characters were really good too.
Definately will purchase the DVD when it comes out.

When I do go to movies, it's usually a matinee. 1) It's cheaper, and 2) All the kiddies are still in school. tongue.gif

Cheap movies are always fun. In some respect it makes it a better movie rather than paying $10 to see the movie and you still havent even gotten popcorn or anthing.

Just today I watched a little bit of Far and Away. It has been ages since I've seen that movie.
