Oh wasn't Colin Firth very yummy looking in that film?! I had wished that that movie had gone further really. Really liked him in that role. Another good looking man! wub.gif

Oh yeah he looks fine in the Bridget movies, but if you want some eye candy take a peek at the wonderful version of Pride and Prejudice he did several years ago. My daughter (and I!) absolutely LOVE it! There's one scene when he's just taken a dip in a pond and is headed back to his estate when he unexpectedly encounters a young woman he is falling in love with...
whenever watch that scene, my daughter and I howl like wolves! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

(And for all you who were just thinking dirty, he has his clothes ON as he strolls back to the estate!)

I ADORE THAT MOVIE!!!!! It played on A&E years ago and all my family except my dad was away somewhere and he taped it for us and since then I love to just sit down and watch it on random days. The story is so great and all the actors are awesome. Not to mention that scene is great! The chemistry between Colin Firth and the woman playing Elizabeth is so believable and makes for a great story. It was the first time I saw Colin Firth, but loved him from that movie on.

Gee! I have always wanted to watch that movie. I think I really need to now.

Watched Mystic River with Sean Penn the other night. It is such a good movie, but very sad with a very surprising ending. Love Sean Penn! He kind of reminds me of Bono of U2 in that movie. biggrin.gif

Monday night - Anna and the King with Jodie Foster and Chow Yun-Fat
Tuesday night - The whole "Pride and Prejudice" marathon 6 hours of Colin Firth
Today - Bridget Jones' Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

I have Darcymania (or should I say Firthfever). At least for today.

Maybe later on I will watch Love actually or What a girl wants.

I am so glad that I have Pride and Prejudice on DVD - so I can forward and rewind without a problem an review the scenes. Got my desktop loaded up with pics of Colin Firth - yummy!

Old John Wayne Movie - The Quiet Man!

Watched it in honor of St. Patricks day!

Has anyone else ever noticed the sexual tension in that film? Especially one filmed in the 1950s?

Just watched Lagaan last night. It was a wonderful, wonderful Bollywood production. Very well made, and had some great music in it as well. If anyone has any interest at all in Hindi films, definately watch this one. It's 3 hours long, but worth it.
