Oh gosh! Rindy! I can even imagine living in that cold of country! I just don't like to be cold. However, it was 20 degrees this morning here in the desert at 7 am! EEP! It's only 43 degrees here now! Oh my! some of us are such wimps out here in the low desert. laugh.gif

Wow, and I was griping that it's going down to zero tonight! We did get five inches of snow yesterday. At least we'll make 30 tomorrow afternoon.

Well if it is "good" snow. You know. The kind you can drive in and there is no black or white ice. Is that possible? In Tucson they get powder snow and one can drive through that, but anywhere else I have lived always has that icey snow and ice underneath....ack!

right now it is like 40 outside, but that ice and snow storm is not too far away and will hit here this afternoon. The temp is dropping everytime I check it. Maybe I will finally see some snow!

Hey ladyoftheloch! I have a friend who lives in England and she told me that she was stuck in the train for 7 hours due to the weather, but they all made it safe. Pretty scarey!

You all be careful over the pond!

You know, I really do like winter and really don't mind the snow, except when I have to drive in relatively inclement weather. I have spun out into a ditch twice, in poor weather conditions. So, I am a little gunshy when it comes to driving in winter. It snowed then turned to freezing rain yesterday. By ths morning it was slushy, not too bad overall.

We had a lot of rain, hail and a wee bit of snow here in the low desert last night and early this morning. Nothing to jump up and down about. And we can drive in that stuff. It is the area where there is all this ice and slippery roads that I cannot drive in. I don't know how you all that have to do so can drive it in it! I don't envy you one bit! Be careful and safe!
