Wow! 3Ravens! Pretty entertaining! We will be getting all that next month. Exciting and yet so scarey! We get some pretty wicked lightening around here!

In typical Michigan fashion it's snowing. Light, yet still snow. Old man winter just doesn't like to die without a fight!

This morning is nice and sunny, high fluffy clouds and about 30C. Got really cloudy last evening and looked and felt like rain was coming, but it went to the north of us. A few more weeks and things will start to green up around here.

Hi 3Ravens, it's about 30 celsius (86 farenheit). The air is really clear this morning too since the rain Saturday took out a lot of the dust.

Time to get my okra planted.

I think we got all the rain that missed you, plus some! Okra planting in a couple weeks, still just a little too soon around here.

Folks used to raise okra around here, but now hardly anyone knows what it is. I want to try and do three plantings this year. If I get it in early I should be able to and the last one will be ready just as the dry season gets going next January.

They can have it. I'm sick of it. My wife and I are seriously thinking of moving south after our son graduates from high school next year. Not sure where. The boss would love Florida. I'm not sure. I hear Alabama is full of tech jobs.

Dannan, going to need a UNIX admin in a year and a half or so? wink.gif

I thought I saw an article the other day suggesting American IT folks out source themselves to India. I didn't read the atticle and I can't find it now, but does sound like a plausible idea. You could go there as an administrative liason, English is a common language thanks to British imperialisim and the particular job requirements dealing with the US, if you could recieve a comparable salary to that of the US you could actually have an estate with servants. The only real problems are 1. it is India, and 2. Nuclear war with Pakistan or China but on the good side it isn't Alabama.

Don't think I could persuade the boss to move to India, even if I was interested. I don't know much about Alabama. I have friends that moved there last year and love it. Dannan knows them.

Durham, North Carolina, is supposed be another tech hub. That's where Red Hat Linux has their HQ.
