How could I have missed this thread for so long?

Knight Rider
Airwolf
A-Team

Unfortunately I never have been able to watch anything of the sort on a regular basis, and I haven't seen an episode of Airwolf in ages.

My favorites were/are:

I Dream of Jeannie
stalag 13 (sp?)
Petticoat Junction
Beverly Hill billies
Star Trek
Miami Vice (when I was in college)
ER (have only seen seasons 1 through 7, can't get into the current season 'cause don't know characters)
Friends (okay, but RAchel was such a slut)
Have only been a sporadic TV watcher since college.
Current favorites are House, M.D. and Criminal Minds

I really like most of the BBC series; Horatio Hornblower the one I can think of right now. Ian McFadden (that's his name, right?) is such a hunk. REally enjoyed him as Lancelot on the most recent Arthur movie (the one with Keira Knightly). I wonder how old he is now and if he's single. *sigh* tongue.gif

When I was a child I loved LASSIE and FURY!!! biggrin.gif

Some really old TV-Shows I used to watch were

- Gunsmoke
- The Rifleman (I think this is the English title, you know, Chuck Connors was starring)
- Bonanza

and later I also watched
- The Waltons and
- Miami Vice....

Is it really THAT long ago?? unsure.gif wink.gif

I was all for the Saturday morning cartoon stuff. H. R. Pufenstuff can still kick Barney's arse. Anything with superheros or swords live or cartoon. I can remember a Justice league cartoon series back from the sixties way before Superfriends came around. Even caught Superman the Musical on PBS once. Any car show like Dukes or Starskey and Hutch wewre never missed. After Star Wars it was all sci fi. Got hooked on Dr. Who in college and haven't yet missed an episode. Riverdance and Braveheart got me into the celtic stuff I watch now.

And yet for some reason I'm listening to Robot Chicken in the background

Hogan's Heros and F Troop--guess I was into the silly ones.

And so now I feel like a real idiot. Ioan Gruffud is the actor's name in Horatio Hornblower. Not having watched either of the Fantastic Four movies, how was I to know he'd become such a star? And he's too young for me and engaged to boot. Life is unfair.

I remember wanting to stay up late and watch Outer Limits when I was about 7-8 yrs old. My dad finally relented and let us stay up past 8:00 to watch it- we got to watch one show and our TV broke. The neighbor had a good TV, though, so we would walk down to his house and watch it and walk home in the dark. We lived out on a farm and had to walk passed these dark barns to get home- talk about scarry! Those old barns were just full of aliens and blob monsters and creepy skeletons and vampires! scared.gif

unsure.gif Yikes!!!!

I'm still scared of vampires even though I am 54 yrs old!

You guys have name a lot that I had almost forgot!

The ones I remember the most are

Dukes of Hazard
One day at a time
the incredible hulk and wonderwoman
different strokes
the facts of life

those are the only ones I can remember from when I was a kid

As a kid I watched a lot of
Mr. Ed
Gunsmoke
Have Gun Will Travel (my dad's favorite and I had to watch it with him)
Twilight Zone
Outer Limits

but my all time favorite is

The Addams Family (the show, not the movies). As a child I loved their house, their furnishings, their way of life - in other words, I wanted to be the Addams Family. I am still looking for that perfect Queen Anne style Victorian house and all the weird furnishings to go in it. My husband does know this, and he says what ever makes me happy. We will see.

Remember Winky Dink on Saturday morning. You could order the magic :Saran Wrap" to place on the T.V. screen to decode secret messages. Then my favorite was Mosby's Rangers. Most of the time I was outside with my dogs hunting and rambling in the woods. cool.gif
