I tried a new flavour while on holidays; Pistachio & Roasted Almond. Can't say it is my favourite, but it was tasty smile.gif

QUOTE (Rindy @ 05-Jul-2008, 04:36 PM)
That sounds so yummy stoirmeil!!! I just had a Oreo Cookie Blizzard from Dairy Queen. I never know what flavor to pick. Any favorite blizzards out there?

Slainte

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this!

My favorite DQ Blizzard toppings:

Chocolate chip cookie dough
Snickers
Heath Bar
Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
Reese's Pieces
Chocolate Xtreme (chocolate soft serve, bits of chocolate bar and chocolate brownies)

I really enjoy chunky stuff, but can't really have much anymore because of my asthma. Still, I'm a New Englander, and it's my biggest sweet tooth craving.

All time fave is Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey, which is banana ice cream with chocolate chunks and Walnut pieces. I know, I know, I hear the "yuck" response all the time. But oh boy, if I could as much of it as I wanted, I'd probably weigh more!

Also on the top of the list is B&J's Coconut Almond Fudge, which I haven't seen lately and don't know if they make anymore.

My childhood favorite flavor (pre-commodity ice cream) was pistachio.

I'm not much on ice cream, I usually pass on it. But on the rare occassions, if I have it straight I like Rocky Road. I also like vailla if you mix it with cranberry juice and make a float. Got that from my grandmother. rolleyes.gif

I’ve never been much of an ice cream fan either, but we visited the Ben & Jerry’s plant in Vermont a few weeks ago where I did more tasting than I anticipated. I think their 'Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz' would qualify as my favorite.

My favorites would have to be BR peanut butter and chocolate. Or just the standard chocolate anywhere else. Ice cream is delish!!

Hi Perkeo I've not heard of that one. Were the peppers hot? I have heard of fried ice cream, never tried it.

I can't have that Starbucks in the house period!!! It's dangerous, I can't stop myself. sad.gif
