Hi, I'm Dave. Just retired from a nursing career a couple of weeks ago. Enjoying my free time. I'm an avid traveler and photographer. I'm also on myspace
( myspace.com/davehardy0101 ) and AOL. Let me know if you enjoy my pix. They are mostly landscapes and wildlife from my trips. Retired USAF Reserve NCO Civil Engineer. Former park ranger and computer repairman, too. My next career is to be a writer. Have a few plots to work on soon as I get moved to southern MD and settle in. Plan some sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and a trip down the Intercoastal Waterway. Love Celtic life and music. Frequent the PA and MD Renfaire's. My favorite local group is Pyrates Royale. Check them out on www.pyrates.com. Feel free to write me. I enjoy writing and meeting people from all over and of any age. My picture was taken by my girlfriend on a hike in the Shenandoah National Park Fall 2007.

Hello and welcome Dave!

It's nice to meet you and we're glad you found us! It sounds like you've done a lot of things, which is good, since there's lots of topics in our forums that might interest you.

I see that we share a common passion, that of sailing. I travel back to the east coast somewhat frequently and sail out of Oxford whenever I can - I love the Chesapeake Bay since it is mild in comparison to San Francisco Bay where I sail now. There are so many places to visit, and as you mention, the ICW is a smooth way to sail to the south!

Have fun listening to great Celtic music and I look forward to reading your future posts!

Best cheers! Robbie
