I started out my day with my son calling to tell me his wife lost their baby in a miscarry. Then I had a hairstylist throw a fit and give me her notice she is leaving the end of the week. I need a really big Makers Mark tonight! Andd it' only Tuesday, god I wish this week were over. At least I have the Renissance Festival to look forward this weekend. Here's the latest from "As the Stomach Turns" Well the Hair Stylist got really ugly with my last customer last night and then left before I could get her in the back to discharge her. So I go to work this morning and come in and ask for her key...she let me know that she wasn't done til tomorrow and I'll get it then...of which I quietly said, "No, your done right now". She told me she'd leave when she was good and ready. I quietly said no, you are done right now. Pack and leave. She refused, I called the Warner Robins Police. Within 4 minutes, 3 of the guys I know were here for me. Actually 5 cars showed but one of the guys gave him a hand sign and the other 2 left but waved hi...one pulled up and asked if he could put me in handcuffs now? I needed that humor right about then. All 3 of the guys came in and told her she must pack and leave and if I had to call them again while she was packing up I could have her arrested for disturbing the peace. She then started packing. Then I walk into the salon and one of the other girls and her customer start yelling at me for calling the police to remove this stylist. The customer told me I didn't have a heart and that I am hard hearted and she will never step foot in this place again and she can't understand how her technician can stand me. I stood there dumbfounded. No reply. I quietly walk back to my office and sat here drinking a Diet Coke regretting the whole thing. So after about an hour and the girl is gone the customer comes over and wants to know if she's going to have a problem with me when she comes in next time. I said "Only if you come over and chew another bite out of my a**" we may have a problem. She then tells me she's sorry and I break down crying all over her and tell her the whole story about the stylist and how ugly she was to my customers and the whole roddy story. She's now crying, I'm sobbing! I apologize to her for adding such excitement to her day & we part friends. So guess what I'm fixing when I go home tonight... yep better go by the liquor store and get another bottle of maker's mark! Been that kind of week.... I hope none of you have had a week like mine!
