My US Government teacher was the Wrestling Coach. My Driver's Ed teachers were the Football Coaches. One of the science teachers was the girls Soccer Coach and later got nailed for messing with some of the girls. And they wonder why our educational system is so messed up?

Here's the scary part about reading those answers. Studies have proven that we do most of our life's learning in the first ten years of life. Now think, in about 20-30 years, those kids will be administering our meds when we are in the nursing homes!

It comforts me (in a way) that I wasn't the only one with multi-personality PE teachers. In my high school one PE teacher was the football coach, health teacher, and the weightlifting teacher. Don't know why we needed a weightlifting teacher, per say, he just sat around and researched the next big game with the football players in the class. What a waste! Another PE teacher was an old wrinkly and for lack of a better word, pudgy, lady who wore too much makeup (a la Tammy Faye Baker) and loved to teach health, sports medicine, and dance of all things!

I didn't get high school, probably never will. It's one of those institutions where either you fit in or you don't. I never got that.
