| Peckery was taken into custody late last night. He was on an all night bender at the Mango Lounge celebrating his 1000 post. He attempted to swing home on his own and was involved in an accident. He was not hurt, but the vine was totaled. As of now he is still in custody, having been denied bail at this time. |

| I just got off the phone with the local authorities and have discovered the following information that the Peckery conveniently failed to mention. The reason that he has been denied bail is not because he was sloshed on banana daquiries (which he was) but not only did he bounce around the arresting officers madly screeching monkey, monkey and knocking their hats off of their heads, but he also taunted them with his mittoned hands all the way to the station. When they tried to test his BAL he kept insisting on trying to swing from the testing tube (you can imagine the havoc a 6'4" sock monkey can cause trying to pull this shenanigan) But also it turns out that he has a nasty habbit of failing to appear on his scheduled dates (I guess they didn't realize that he is a drummer) Stay tuned for updates |

| Late breaking update................ A swing and run victim has come forward. It seems a Mrs Boa was resting in a tree when Mr. Peckery came swing by. In Mr. Peckery inebriated state, He grabbed Mrs. Boa's tail, mistaking it for a vine. Mrs. Boa fell, injuring several ribs and vertebrae along with minor cuts and bruses. |

| This just in It seems that Johny Cochran has decided to take up the fight for the Peckery's freedom. He has apparently unearthed evidence that not only will the gloves used by the police as prima facia evidence not possibly fit on a mittoned sock monkey but also that Peckery does not in fact own a white Ford Bronco but a white Ford Pickup truck. This new evidence has the prosecution scrambling |

Peckery, I do not recommend that you hire either Johnnie Cocohran or the hacks at Dewey, Cheatem & Howe to represent you. I recommend the well-known, well-respected firm of Howard, Fine & Howard  . |

| I have talk to one of our Deputies here where I live and I asked him if we were on any kind of Level Alert due to the President elect Saki Sockmonkey's threat. He told me that in our County, we are under an Orange Alert. But once it turns to a Banana Alert, it would be a full scale War. From what I understand, there has been a line of people at the Fruit Market to Volunteer in the case that any action is needed. |
