Celtic Radio Community > Celtic Radio > New icon feature! |
Posted by: Macfive 26-Oct-2002, 09:50 AM |
In our never ending desire to continually improve this forum, we have added a feature that we think is long over due! We know that people love our clickable smilies, but a less used feature is the little "emoticons" help card listed directly below the box you type your message. We have hundreds of emoticons available in the help card, however, we dread when we have to type one of those long '::hdsmile:)(D' to get one of our favorite emoticons. With the changes we have made, it is now possible to simply click any of the emoticons in the help card and the forum software will automatically insert the proper code in your message. Hope you enjoy this new feature! |

It works, you did that just for me. Thank you so very much! There is one little problem though. When the icon is clicked the page closes, if I want an other one, I have to wait for page to load again. |

Hi Cabbagehome Just got message from Paul via PM as I also reported this and he said he'd fix as soon as he gets a chance. He's got a couple things he wants to finish up so might not be fixed immediately but soon he hopes (Fingers crossed) |

I'll get working on this. Yes, especially if you are connected by dial up it will take a while for it to load. |

"I Luv Celtic"!! Have you not heard of the sectarian divide that comment provokes? Celtic and Rangers represent the Catholic/Protestant divide in Scotland. Sad to say but the Irish troubles are not confined to Ireland. |

I´m sorry if I trobled you in any way. Let me tell you this: I´m portuguese, I don´t know what those comments provoke. I choose the I love Celtic emoticon to express my passion for celtic music. Eitherway, celtic for me DON´T HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CATHOLIC/PROTESTANT WAR...just because that is the most stupid civil war on earth!! So, I hope I made my point here. |

Just another thing that may have been misunderstood: when I said "this guys are great" I ment the new emoticons...That´s what it was being discussed here, not politics. |

Yes Kaia, these little icons are great I miss them on other boards. I'm not sure where Welsh Guy is coming from, sounds like a football thing to me. Maybe you have to be a guy to understand. Hey Mac these icons are terrific, but you forgot one. We need a DUH for our "what was I thinking" moments. Not that I don't appricate my little viking. Thanks! |

Yes it is very sad, and one that was carried over here to the states in some cases. I am glad to be raising my kids prejudice free! |
