I thought this would be a good one to share, I know we all have them.
One of mine is:

aklassie, I love that one!!! biggrin.gif I think of myself as a prayer warrior so my favorite scripture is:

The Armor of God

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. 19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

I have lots of favorites!

Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition present your requests to God. And the peace of God which trancends all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Jesus Christ......whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable ------- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy --- think about such things.

There are so many, but here is one from the Old Testament and two from the New Testament:

Job 19 (NIV)
25 I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.

Galatians 2 (NIV)
20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Job 14 verses 1&2

Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.He cometh forth like a flower and is cut down: He fleeth also as a shadow and continueth not.

I guess my personal favorite would have to be

Psalm 30:5b "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

This one has gotten through some hard times! It is so good to know that even though soemtimes we have to endure hardships, they are only temporary and that if we can just hold on to that Unseed Hand through the night, His joy will greet us in the morning!

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you and uphold you with my righteous right hand.


It's nice to know that I have a God stronger than I am.

Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

And of course verses 10-12 leading into that. thumbs_up.gif
