My name is Angela Renee. I'm from the state of Arkansas in the U.S. I've discovered I've good amount of Scotts/Irish heritage and am just looking for different sites to help me learn more about the culture. Any help would be appreciated. Even other websites or something as everyday as recipies. Looking forward to hearing from any of you as I would just ultimately enjoy new friends. That's always a very important thing to me. |

Welcome TwoCat. It's great to have you here! I believe we are gaining more international listeners due to our partnership with Radionomy which is great. Thanks for the positive feedback about the music. It is much appreciated! Again, welcome to the site! |

Hi Angela, Great to have you on the site. I think you will find some information on our site about culture and heritage. Such as our family heraldry Coat of Arms site and some of the posts within this forum. Although there are many other websites that present the information much better and more extensively than us. But if you want to hear the music of your ancestors, definitely take Highlander Radio for a spin and you will hear much including 4 great syndicated shows with tons audio on music and culture. Glad to have you and I hope you find the culture. Definitely looks for Highland Games or Irish Festivals in your local area. These are great sources of both historical, genealogical, music and cultural information and a lot of nice people to met. |
