I would like to take the time and Thank Everyone of you for your Prayers.
I would like to Thank Sis E. (Elspeth for those who do not know) for starting this Thread.
For Sis G. (Gabby for those who do not know) for letting me know of this Thread and she is correct that I would not ask for this myself, it is not in my Belief.
And to all my Wonderful Friends who I have had many of conversations with through here and/or in person. There was maybe one or two who I do not know but I want to Thank you anyway.
To let you in on some of my news. I do have a wonderful Team at Ohio State University Hospital. I will be visiting the Transplant Division this Tuesday to get to know all of them and find out everything I need to do.
I haven't given up on my Flyfishing even though I was out only 5 times this year. But I am teaching a young lady (15 years of age) and a young boy (10 years of age) the fundamentals of Flyfishing, Fly Tying and History of Flyfishing. I think that the young people need to learn these things for the future so that they may enjoy Nature more than to be stuck inside either watching TV or playing Video Games all the time.
On the lighter side the People who needs the Prayers the most are the ones who use Dial-up Internet. I know when I get on the Internet, I can usually play 2 games of Solitaire between screens. I just had to put something onery in here.
But really I do want to Thank all of you for your support. Sir Richard, The Onery

Good Heavens. Talk about guilt for staying away for so long. Richard, you and your situation are very much in my thoughts now. I had no idea you were unwell, let alone talking transplants.
I'll be checking this thread often, as I would like to hear any news on this battle.

Hi Richard, checking back to see whats going on. I am praying for you and yours.
Too darn cold to be fishin here this will make you feel better..
I am glad to hear your teaching the art of fly-fishing. If you can still tie flys you ought to sell them to your sporting goods stores.. I couldn't believe the cost of flys...and its winter....lol
You take care ok I will be back to check on you...hang in there...
I'm here, too, Richard. Thinking of you every day and praying for your recovery.
I like Rindy's idea, too. The pics you've posted of the flies you've made are wonderful -- bet they'd sell well! It's definitely something to look into
Take care of yourself!

As far as an update, there is not much to really tell at this time, other that I have "Officially" been place on the "Active deceased donor waiting list".
I have been told it could be from any time to years. So all I can do is wait.
As far a selling my Flies. There is a market out there however I can only tie what my hands would allow and that is only one or two flies a day, and if I can do it then, it take me anywhere from half an hour to two days to tie just one. When I would be able to tie them, the most I could hopefully get would be anywhere from $1 or $2 per fly. Personally I have not tied on in two months, my tremors has been so bad lately that anything I do is a major accomplishment. So what I wind up doing is giving them away. My one Doctors is just starting to learn to Flyfish and I will be giving her a dozen and a half this Friday when I see her. I would much rather make someone happy then to make money off of them. That is how I have always been and it is kind of hard to change now. You know, "Can't teach an O'le dog new tricks".
I will try not to stay away so long next time. It is good to see that some of my O'le Friends are still here.
It's great to hear from you, Richard. And good to see you're upbeat. Stay busy, and tie on. I'm sure your gift will be appreciated by the doctor. The world is short on humility, and you're a giant.
Good thinking, Sir Richard. You want the doctor to be a HAPPY doctor. Im sorry the tremors are limiting your activity. Maybe you should switch to bait and "jig" fish? At least that will put the tremors to good use.
We all hope you get better soon, my friend. You still owe us a trip to Janeymae's "cabin".

Hi Richard, I may not be an old friend. However it sounds to me like we should be your humble servants, and not the other way around. Just keep moving. JC
