Possibly even get pity tongue.gif

My left thumb has ached in the joints like crazy ever since I got a nasy infection earlier this year when my leopard bit me.

I constantly pops out of the socket at the first joint and the second joint feels like it is on fire.

I hate getting old. sad.gif

Any body else?

I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist due to playing musical instruments when I was younger.

What's this about Arminta biting you? tongue.gif

While it's true that getting old sucks, I am enjoying the process a great deal. I go to the gym 4-5 times per week. The increased exercise is helping slow the advance of age. I must admit, though that "things" don't work as well as when I was young. rolleyes.gif

I get sinus infections a lot. And when they come I always get this ache right below my right ear and just behind my jaw bone! (Some kind of gland problem maybe?)

I get sinus infections a lot. And when they come I always get this ache right below my right ear and just behind my jaw bone! (Some kind of gland problem maybe?)

I had those symptoms and finally went to a ear-nose-throat specialist. It was/is TMJ (temporomandibular joint) syndrome. Things are gradually getting better; I have to use a plastic mouthpiece at night, and take a very mild muscle relaxant at bedtime. I also use some butt-kicking NSAID tablets.

What was happening, was that the side of my face was so inflamed from the TMJ that it was easy for the germs to get a foothold. Was having sinus infections almost every month. Now haven't had one since -- March!

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

I'm 22 and I swear that I have the joints of an 80 year old woman!!!! I hate to climb stairs (up or down) and when I squat I dread standing up again. My knees are aweful! Sometimes they pop out of place and I need to stand still and rub them until they get back in place. This is always unexpected. Sometimes i'll be walking to class and bam! my knees go out. I fall down or stop right in place and people have no idea what's going on. it sucks!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle
Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

my knee joints are not quite that bad but they do have a truck load of gravel in both of them. They don't bother me to much as long as I don't use them excessively smile.gif
