We have made some substantial changes to our flagship broadcast channel - Highlander Radio. This effects both Founder and Live365 listening options.
  • Now streaming in 128kps CD quality.
  • No more AAC+ or MP3Pro codecs.
  • Default Flash Player.
  • More listening options in CP.
If you miss the old Active X control web player, just visit your control panel and click on "Active X" player. Our new flash based player is very compatible with all computer systems and displays the title of the song, artist and the album cover if available (most independent artist's covers will not display).

Listening for Founders is now available 24/7.

Celtic Radio TV is now available 24/7!

I'd give these options
1. 128kbps mp3 (for broadband, including EV-DO and HSDPA)
2. 64kbps mp3 (FM quality, for EDGE, 1XRTT, ISDN, UMTS)
3. 32kbps aac+ (for dial-up and GPRS)

Just a quick note that we have decided to roll back the quality of the Highlander Radio stream to 64kps and re-enable the mp3pro features (makes it sound like CD quality).

We noticed that 64kps seems to garner more listeners than the 128kps. This could have something to do with mobile listeners and also those that have a lower DSL line.

Thanks for your understanding.

I'm gonna try to get back into the site - I've been away for a while. THanks for making it all easier!
