I wanted to share this bit of info. with anyone that might be interested. Supposedly what is believed to be ancient celtic inscriptions was found in 3 neighboring counties in my state of WV. Some believe it to be Native American petroglyph. I plan in the near future to visit one of the sites where the inscription is.
Mal It has been suggested that a Welsh Pince called Madoc reached mainland USA, in the 13th Century. Check out this site for more info http://www.madoc1170.com/
Being new to the Celtic radio site I happened acrossd this posting and thought you all may find this book interesting. It was written by James Alexander Thom, and is tittled The Children Of The First Man. Mr. Thom writes historical fiction and the book is about Madoc and his tribe. It was enjoyable reading.

Some men are drawn to oceans, they cannot breathe unless the air is scented with a salty mist. Others are drawn to land that is flat, and the air is sullen and is leaden as August. My people were drawn to mountains- Earl Hamner Jr.
barrdas, last year I did try to find the one site that is located in Wyoming county, my husband and I looked high and low and never did find the cliff with the inscription! Maybe I'll take a trip this fall to look again!
