I have always liked long hair on guys, maybe becasue I was brought up in the era of Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath and so on.

Good idea! I should have done that! Why don't they ever cut the lenght that you tell them to? And they always mess up the bangs!

Now Rindy this is an interesting ? As you know I keep my hair long and basically don't get it cut or use fancy hair products so my hair is very cheap to run. Which amuses me as i know some people think me keeping my hair so long is vain , my darling hubby like's it long and I have a funny heart pumping reaction to having hair cuts so there you go no haircuts for me just saving the $ for scotland and Ireland

I too like long hair on men. Unless its like a afro. I think it's ridiculous when they charge the same price for a childs cut. Granted they are harder if they don't sit still.
Perkeo-it's wonderful that you have that choice. I can understand your brothers feelings.

Fiona, your hair is just beautiful. I had hair to my rear thick too...don't remember if I said it earlier but I cut it and never went back. As mainopsman said, It is a pain to keep it short as you have to get it cut about every 4 weeks..and costly.

Now I still haven't figured out who is going to cut it as my hairdresser is moving so I am in a panic. I am sure it will work itself out. My be saving my $ for a trip as well fiona. No I would cut it myself. It gets to a certain length and drives me nuts.

I like long hair on men as long as they keep it clean. Hubby has long hair. He keeps it in a ponytail during the work week. You ought to see the faces of the people in our small town when they see him with it down. Priceless.

Yesterday I waved my long hair at my x barber again, and again he gave me that foul hand signal. (You know I love it when he does that)!

i had a bad hair experience once with baby oil, my cousin told me to put babyoil in it, that it made it nice and soft, well, she didnt tell me how much to put in, twas a bit too much I guess, I went around for atleast a month with greasey looking hair, No matter how much I washed it, it wouldnt come out. Its was horrible.

All this talk about hair cuts convinced me I need one again. I think I am paying $12.00 but since she trims my beard too I leave a BIG tip to cover the extra time.
