Has anyone seen 'Constantine' yet? I went to see it with my husband, our son & his fiance on Saturday night. I just love Keanu Reeves, and the chick Rachel Weitz was great... Gavin Rossdale is stunning and definately has a future as a movie star too.
But now I remember why I shouldn't go see violent, scarey movies.

Its honestly an interesting story, theological mumbo-jumbo but still
thought-provoking, and the special effects are absolutely fabulous - the BEST angel wings ever! But it is quite violent movie, and it got to me... towards the end, Constantine does something that just pushed me over the edge and I actually started to pass out! Saw stars, ears started ringing, felt vaguely nauseated and started to black out... I didn't see the end of the movie and had to get hubby to relate it later that evening. I was quite embarrassed!

I'm just a wimp. No more scarey movies for me!
What did you think about the movie??

The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king..."

I really didn't care one way or the other for it.

Have you ever noticed that whenever a movie deals with demons, the hero either a] is a Catholic priest, or b] enlists the help of a Catholic priest?

Just once, I'd like to see them use a shaman or a rabbi biggrin.gif .

May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

Yeah, or a Baptist preacher - he'd have no idea what to do with a real demon!!
