Hello everyone and happy new year!!!

I live in the highlands of scotland in a little village called Bonar-Bridge. Just so you have a better idea of wereabouts i am i actually work at the castle were madonna got married a few years ago if you seen that on television. I love my traditional music and attend as many gigs and festivals as i can. My favourite bands are shooglenifty and Session A9 and luckily ive seen them both live here in scotland.

greetings again from across the ocean!
Paul

Hello Paul and welcome from the Nvajo Nation! Hope you enjoy your visits to the forums.

I have some friends that live in Dingwall. Are you familiar with the town or are you close to it?

Have a great day!

Greetings and welcome to you. I think it is great here. I've been to Ireland and I missed a trip to Scotland by about 50 dollars. I couldn't afford the flight, totally depressing. Oh well. Welcome to the forum.

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle
Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

Hello Pagcelt!

You've found a wonderful place on the internet! The music is wonderful and the people genuinely care.

I see you're a Glasgow Celtic fan. I follow them as best I can over the internet. How are the Bhoys doing?

Paul - this is SO cool that you've seen Shooglenifty live!! I love them as well. I have actually been in contact w/Quee via email and he sent me a cd which I sent in to CelticRadio for some air time. SO...please go and request them whenever you are on!

Oh, now, let me extend a welcome to CelticRadio to you. This is the best place (I believe so) on the net to find Free, 24 hour celtic music. I think you'll find we are mostly a friendly bunch here and I hope you'll join in on the message boards!

Welcome again, any other bands you've seen live? I'd love to see Runrig, Clann An Drumma and Shooglenifty!! Some day...I'll keep dreaming!!
