I just finished watching The Castle - seriously funny! Several colorful swear words, but overall it was very charming and well-acted! Like the DVD sleeve said, "watching this movie you won't stop smiling and laughing!" - they're right!
It was made in Australia several years ago by the same company (Working Dog) that made The Dish (my previous post) and not only was it done realistically, it truly shows what can be done if someone believes. If you have a chance, please rent or borrow a copy - you won't be disappointed!
Well, we finally got to see The Waterhorse. A friend rented it and my girls were captivated. The 14-year-old kept turning to me and saying "I want one!" When the creature kept growing bigger, I would ask her if she still wanted one and she insisted she did. I suppose she figured we could just take it over to the lake at Stone Mountain (about a mile away).
There's a 40% off coupon on DVDs at Borders today and I may just have to break down and buy this one.

Och, aye!! The Highlander Series on TV I have seen, fine lookin' gent I dinna believe I have seen all the Movies though....I shall have to check this out at me Local Rental on a rainy day
Typically Adrian Paul (your fine looking gent) is not in the movies. He is in Endgame though. Duncan McLeod (Paul) is in Endgame, but the original movies centered around Connor McLeod, played by Christopher Lambert.
Watched Cold Mountain last week. Thought it was a beautiful movie. We were a little taken aback by the graphic sex scene at the end of the movie. It kinda got a little too close to soft-core porn.
We are so psyched for the new Indy movie - we have a gang going to the midnight release on May 21/22. I will probably watch all 3 of the others before that at least once, if not more times.
