That pottery is really beautiful.. I liked the 3rd one of the 18th century pattern of Roen (Normady). Very interesting pieces..thanks for sharing that.

Here, in every house there a piece of Quimper, inherited from our grandmother or bought last month in our favorite supermarket...it's traditionnal. For example, most of us have at least one "eared-bowl" with our firstname written on it . Something like that :

How wonderful!
I really like the plate with the blue border and the three dancers on it. I really need to look into this culture more -- it is my real ancestral claim to celticness, even though I love the scottish heritage so much.

I don't have much Rindy, it's far too expensive but my mother has some beautiful pieces
