This stunning Irish Songstress I had the pleasure of interviewing for my radio Show in the Highlands of Scotland www.nocelticboundaries.com She came from The Lord of the Dance Troupe and has crossed over from Classical to more Traditional. Visit her on line at www.deirdreshannon.com and sample some of her music with mp3 clips. Kind Regards from Scotland Charles  |

I have heard a lot about her, but have never gotten to give her a listen. I'm going to have to do that now! Here are some ladies I enjoy hearing in no particular order: Cathie Ryan - Consistently great Niahm Parsons - Something unique and relaxing about her voice Cathy Jordan - Singer for Dervish - Great intensity and stage presence Karan Casey - Helped put Solas on the map Deirdre Scanlan - Picked up where Karan Casey left off with Solas Chloe Agnew - Amazing voice that should only get better Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh - Singer with Altan - Voice is so unusual, it grows on you |
