Celtic Radio Community > Suggestion Box > Inactive Player Deletion

Posted by: McRoach 21-Oct-2008, 09:28 AM
There was a suggestion/thread about deleting inactive players after a month or two (real time) with no activity and I know in my kingdom 1:8, there are about 10 people who haven't really played since they first started. This makes getting votes and the overall politics very difficult especially in a a large kingdom.

Will you be moving forward with any kind of warning and deletion process for these players soon?

Right now the time for account deletion is 60 days. This will just delete a Celtic Radio members Medieval Gaming account.

We set 60 days because we expect once King Arthur's Auction house comes online that more people are going to join or be more active to bid in this "ebay" type action for real prizes.

Perhaps later on this year or early next year we can consider lowing this to 30 days if everyone thinks that is a good idea.

New accounts and moving your Kingdom will then popular in those members locations that are deleted.

I agree.
Wonder if there is some way to put a "clock" on the accounts.
Something like you need to login say one in a four day period, or something like that.

After say three weeks send a one week notice, then ............. "fluuush"

I think more than that would be too long (sorry McRoach), I mean, think about what is possible in one week, let a lone three.

(Had to edit this, did not realize Paul and I were posting at the same time)

I think you have a good plan, I for one give it a YAH thumbs_up.gif
