Just started snowing about 30 minutes ago here and temp has dropped like a rock. Nest two days, we are in for sub zero temps. And to think it was about 60 a couple of days back!

They were saying yesterday that this could be a record breaker for us.

Hi Haggishead it was 4 degrees above zero when I got up. It's up to 7 above. It is going to be bitter cold tomorrow night with -20 to -30 below F. Was in the 40's 2 days ago. Keep warm and safe.

MORE snow in the Boston area today AND tomorrow!
8 inches today, about 6 inches of snow and ice expected tomorrow. And that's on top of what we've had the last few weeks. My driveway is shrinking. We have snow banks around our driveway over 5 feet!

We'll drop to -1 tonight and then to around -13 tomorrow night. Sure had a great time chopping wood this afternoon in the 40 mph gusts with blowing snow!

I'm still a wimp. Got a good friend in the Dakotas and they had a robust high of zero today!

Keep your stoves on and avoid those nasty roads! Take care and have a great day!

It's almost spring-ish here (south-westeren part of the Netherlands) - around 9 - 10 degrees centigrade (around 48 to 50 F), little wind, lots of sun.

Rhymer glad to hear your weather's dryer.

What a winter it's been. I had to laugh it is 16 degrees F. above zero and even the FedX mailman was in his shirt sleeves and he said it was a beautiful warm day. Funny what you get used to. smile.gif

We have had the air conditioner on for the last week (low 80's). President's Day we enjoyed a nice picnic out on the deck (low humidity). But those pesky mosquitoes are starting to come back. I have noticed robins and ducks on the way back north.

Maybe now that you aren't all freezing, I can complain about how much we have had the AC running. I HATE having the house closed up. I spent over 50 yrs in Connecticut keeping the cold out so I guess I will stop complaining. Besides Venice was just named one of the top 10 places to retire biggrin.gif

Today is 85 and sunny with a lovely breeze.
