That sounds like Toronto last week. To-day has been really odd with funny cloud cover, clearing and now raining. I cannot remember ever seeing a sky like I did this morning. Forboding does little to describe it.
A few days ago, the temperature hit 102 degrees with dew points as high as 82 degrees. Today is in the mid 70s with widespread thunder storms. We have been about 5 inches behind for the year in rainfall. These storms are slow moving and appear to be trying to make up the deficit all at one time. Saw a map of rainfall totals and hope that Ogdenmusic got to his ark in time. Apex had one of the higher totals.
The weather here the past 3 days has been absolutely perfect summer weather. Temps in the high 20's and little to no Humidity. To-morrow though it will rain so that puts the Humidity back up.
40 degrees, and raining. EVERYTHING is slush, slop, or mud! And we're not supposed to get below freezing for at least the next 3 days. WHAT A MESS! And floods are predicted too!

Hoka Hey! The more Liberals I meet, the more I like my dogs!
If finally stopped snowing up here. Today is the first day I've seen the sun since November. Nothing too exciting up here aside from one of the local ski lodges burning down this weekend.

Unavoidably Detained by the World
"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
