As many of you know, being a Celtic Radio Founder entitles you to wide range of services including many clan and coat of arms graphic avatars.

Now, we will be adding a collection of 250 Irish Claddagh family badges. So, the Scots will not be the only ones with clan badges!

These new designs will also be available for purchase in our Tee Shirt shop and we will try and include them in the family history section over at the Heraldry database.

And now an announcement of a forth coming feature for Celtic Radio Founder's. We plan on building a companion music player that will work as a default MP3 player for use with Live365. This player (we have not named it yet!) will initially perform the following functions:

Play the Live 365 Stream (as default mp3 player)
Display the Title and Artist
Display the Album Cover

Eventually, we will probably build alot of our web features right into this player, such as requests, playlist, history and queue. Will see how it goes, but look for further announcements about this exciting new featuring!

Forgot to mention that the Irish Family Badges features the Irish Saint Patrick and the Family Motto scrolled on the badge. Here is an example of the Irish Claddagh Badge:

We will have larger displays available for sampling and of course our Tee Shirt designs are rendered in full 8.5 x 11 inch color!

Will the new player still require VIP membership (and the costs associated with it)?

The new player will work in conjunction with Live365. It will only work if you select "default mp3 player" in the listening settings of Live365.

The player will only be available to Founder members at no additional cost. Our main reason for this is cost. We would like to offer it to everyone, but we will have to see how much bandwidth it eats up, etc.

Development on this will probably begin in October.

The new Irish Claddagh badges are now available from the Founder Control Panel.

Please note that if you have previously selected an Irish Coat of Arms, you are allowed to select an Irish Claddagh badge too.

For example, when selecting either a Scottish Coat of Arms or Scottish Clan badge, we make both available in the "founder only" avatar directory. We will do the same for Irish Coat of Arms and Claddagh Badges.
