I just wanted to say "Hello" to you. I come from other forums, mainly for whistlers, as in Irish Whistle, Tin Whistle, Penny Whistle . . . wink.gif

I am at work and must be brief, but I can tell you my ancient family history runs, as I imagine many do, to England, Ireland, and Scotland, also a good mix of other European countries like Holland, Germany and France.

I love learning traditional tunes on my whistles, which I have been playing for just over a year. I came to discover the whistle through the blessing of the wonderful Lord of the Rings soundtracks, and yes, I love the movies and books as well.

I hope to visit and see how it goes here. The site looks really nice, and the opportunities to meet people and discover historical and cultural items of interest has definitely caught me eye. Actually, both eyes. I have two that still work!
