A young woman with fiery red hair and emerald eyes walks through the door. She takes off her cape, orders a strongbows, and heads to her ususal table in the corner.

"Wow, there are a lot of new faces today, maybe I will give some good readings today" She thinks.

She pulls out a black satin bag and proceeds to lay a piece of black silk on the table, a deck of very large cards, and a sign that says Fortune Telling

"I sense some tension, I wonder where it is coming from?" She wonders to herself. "Something big is going to happen tonight"

I lose my focus momentarily as a genuine Irish beauty strolls through the doors. Firery red hair and emerald green eyes...just my type I sees her pull out the fortune telling sign and set up in a booth.
"So, what do the cards have in store for me?" I say with a smile and wink.

"What is your name?" She asks while trying to figure out just how much money she can squeeze out of this guy.

"Kent. How about yourself?" I bet it's something suitably Gaelic. I LOVE this job! Seat myself comfortably across from her. I've seen that look before. Probably sizing up my wallet. Fine with me, its not MY money.

AS Zeb sits listening to the obvious cry for help, and the never ending stories of Annes cats, He notices an old friend walk thru the door and setting up shop.

Thinking to myself " Geez I never would have thought this pretty young Lass to be one of those 'CRAZY CAT LADIES" .....

Zeb to Anne " If you could excuse me I want to say hello to an old dear friend that just came in..."

Damn, just what I need, another interuption Smiles broadly. "Hi folks, how are you this evening? This Irish beauty was just about to read me my fortune." I throw a wink in Zeb's direction. I hope he gets the hint. All I want is some time alone with her

"Oh, right. That's where I was off too anyways. Know her for years...
She is quite good ya know....
We used to do onothers readings back at university...
Very well then. Shall we?"

Zeb thinks to himself...( just say no, just say no....)

to Anne " ah I see she is busy at the moment....maybe you should put your name on the sign-up sheet"

While Anne starts to signup, I wink at the green- eyed Lass, Just to let her know I'm here and we'll catch up later...
In the meantime I go back to the bar and start paying Barside trivia game...

The blonde steps up to the table and Zeb pulls a chair out for her.

How about if I pay for the first fortune tonight? Anne asks.

She pulls out her small coin purse and begins to unwrap the carefully folded $100 bills she has tucked away.

If this gypsy is the least bit clairavoyant, she thinks to herself, she will know that I would pay just about anything to get out of this evening all together! This is the pits, first I am stood up, and then I find one who won't go away! I could not even get him out of my face by boring hiim to death about my cats!

"So, now that we're alone again" I say with a wink "what do your cards say about me?" I must remember to buy that guy a drink later.

She looks across the way at poor Zeb and this blonde haired lady. They both look like they are wanting to get away from each other. Her smile broadens, but then she remembers there is this guy in front of her eyeing her like a hawk.

"You can call me Isabel , you're not from around here are you? Interesting, in numerology, your name is calculated to the number 5. This means that you crave change, and it is a necessity in your life. Travel is also a very important aspect of your being. You are also drawn to what could be considered the more dagerous activities in life."

Continues Shuffling

She notices Zeb and the blonde coming her way.

"This IS going to be a busy night"

"Interesting how accurate the numbers can be sometimes. My job requires lots of travel, and a substantial amount of risk as well...By the way, I'm an American. Originally from Seattle, but now I spend so much time on the road I don't even have a lease on an apartment. I don't mind, you get to see such wondrous sights when you travel alone..." Crack another smile. Rack my brains for all that government training about how to appear disarming, witty, and attractive...

"Hi Zeb, who is your new lady friend?" Chokes back the snort that is trying to come out. Must stay mysterious!

Turns back to Kent


"Now, think about what question you may have or problem you have that you want answered while I shuffle"...

Is stunned by the cards sitting before her

Looks uneasily at Kent
