The ruling came down 8-1 for the teenager. They protected the two individuals who did the search, which I believe was wrong, as I suspect many of these instances have "deeper" reasons behind them. The school district is hanging out there to be sued though and it appears they will be.
This is another instance where common sense was on vacation. First it was only TYLENOL!!
Since we have such qualified police officers, they should have handled it. I suspect they would want no part of it. If the truth comes out, I suspect an educator had an itch that needed scratched or an axe to grind!
