all I can say is, WE'VE Come A Long Way Baby!!!
No more whalebones!!! wouldn't it be awful to have to get up and put on a corset to
make yourself an eighteen inch waist! I like my jeans and tee shirt! and I'm glad I have a husband that doesn't try to rule me...bash.gif

Yeap. My daughter has a custom-made corset that she likes so much she even wears it for airline travel.

yep....cough............I still wear a corset. Actually, I find it to be the best bra and back support I have ever encountered!

Sill need to work on links during this period of time.

If any of you have seen the HBO, "John Adams" series, that gives you a wonderful visual of what life was like back then.

Depending on a woman's station in life, many did have say so. The rest did not, sadly. Most young women were married to men who were like 20-30 years older than them. I am so glad I don't live in those days.

More to come!
