OK, 'fess up. Who's gonna go see "Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban" tomorrow? I know I am! I'm going to a matinee. I'll have to put up with the rugrats, but it's cheaper than the full price nighttime movies.

I went to see a matinee today. Gary Oldman was excellent as Black. Michael Gambon was a good replacement as Dumbledore. I loved seeing Hermione belt Malfoy.
For those of you who've yet to see it, beware of creepy-looking teenagers in robes. Freaky !!!

Saw the movie at 9:00 last night. 2 hours long. It started off with alot of humor and the tree was my favorite. Oldman who played Dumbeldorf was well done. Although I'll always feel Richard Harris was the ultimate. Couldn't believe how the kids have grown up. Whimpy Ron was the most changed to me. Loved the movie. Loved the scene's of the Scottish Locke's in the movie and did anyone else note the changes in topography around Hogwarts? Very well done! Annabelle
I go to see it tonight...830. Going with my older sis and younger bro. hope we don't kill each other. (no parents)

I had hoped to go see if again today but had to work (yuck) instead. Blast it all, I'll get to see again soon. I liked it, but then again I like Harry Potter! Going to hate when all 7 years are over and I have nothing to read about Harry anymore.
I saw the first screening of it with a bunch of my friends on an IMAX screen. I have to say that despite some bad views that I've heard (like the Globe and Mail), I really enjoyed this movie a lot more that the other ones. There was an artistic flair to it that made it seem more like a film in it own rights rather than just an adaptation of the books. I did have 3 problems with it; the first being that even though the actor playing Lupin was very charismatic he was just a tad too greasy, and the second being that I was very disappointed that the significance of Moody, Prongs, Padfoot and wormtail was never discussed (I had my fingers crossed that Lupin was going to do it at the end, and then felt so disappointed after. I can only hope that it will be one of the deleted scenes that comes with the DVD. Maybe they'll do what they did for the LOTR and include them in the actual film), and finally I thought that the final scene was absolutely awful. There were so many better ways to end rather than having Harry's face smeared across the screen. I just hope J K Rowling finishes the 6th book soon, and that Radcliffe stays for the rest of the films!
I took my good lady to the 12:20 pm Friday showing. OK OK she got the tickets from a friend who she was going to go with. The friend couldn't make it but why get hung up in details.
Neville has had a growth spurt. Considering how much had to be trimmed to fit into the available time, we thought they did a good job. Definitely the best of the three. Although the Map was done real well, makers remain a mystery, see spoiler above.
It was apparent that they didn't shoot the scenes in the order they appeared on screen.
PITA will not appreciate the bluebird.
Thank God it stopped one button before becoming a real horror movie.

Fun movie Interesting how Harry saw so much of his father in himself, and how they filled in the blanks the way they did. I still thought it was odd about the changes though...
Someone needs to get Ron some pet spiders though on Roller skates!

I loved the movie!! It scared the bee-geebers out of my kids though. It seems the movies progress to scarier things as they go. I think next time I'll check out the movie first, and then decide whether to take them or not.
I loved the movie! But the books do get darker as he gets older. You might want to read the books if you haven't so you'll know where they are headed. A

Those black evil looking guys scared them. But then again, they're only 6 and 7, so they might have been a bit young for this one. I'm going to be borrowing the books from a friend. I make it a point not to read a book until after I've seen the movie. Whever, I read a book first, I'm always disapointed how the movie turns out.
