The Ivan Drever Band is the latest venture from ex-Wolfstone frontman Ivan Drever who has teamed up once again with old friend and ex-Wolfstone guitarist Andy Murray to create IDB. The line up is completed by bassist/producer/guitarist Finlay Wells, with Iain Coates on drums. The guys decided to get back together as a band to pursue the type of music they enjoy writing and performing. IDB is primarily a song-based band and can best be described as Rock Meets Folk With A Celtic Twist! This EP is neither folk, rock, celtic or pop but something unique combining all the above. At their gigs, the odd bit of funk, blues or electronica will also find it's way into the set. The 5-track limited edition EP is a forerunner to a full album later in the year, which will contain songs from the EP, and a mix of old and new, with a couple of revamped old Wolfstone numbers written into the setlist.
