Just got in the house after a miracle, got my van fixed for free! The next door neighbor had a friend over who "JUST HAPPENS" to be a mechanic, and he found and ifxed my problem for free.

Got to work a little bit late today. The girls and I watched Sense and Sensibility for school this morning and I couldn't leave before the ending. I just love Jane Austen. After watching the trailers on the DVD, we decided we need to get Much Ado About Nothing and, possibly, Howard's End which both have Emma Thompson in them. I believe we are on an Emma Thompson kick - thank goodness for the period movies she's been in. And, fortunately, my honey just happened to be at Borders when the girls and I decided we just had to have Much Ado - I called him and asked him if he would get it for me with his employee discount. Happy dance! I now know one present that will be under the tree this Christmas. tongue.gif

Yakhhh, what am I ever doing . . sad.gif
Sitting here grading papers, wishing I wasn't. Wishing for chocolate. Wishing for a bagpiper to come in and blow them all away.

That Much Ado About Nothing with Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh is beautiful, and very funny. I know you will enjoy it.

Right now, I’m responding to the question. I hope this response is taken with the intended humor it was given.

Ditto

The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.

Relaxing after fighting the Atlanta traffic. It took 2 hrs to get home when it usually takes 1-1 and half hours.

I'm chillin'... after a day of cooking for hubby's birthday dinner. His birthday isn't until Sat., I have to work that day and today was the only day I could get all the family together. All my daughters, gchildren, sons-in-law and my Mom was here to celebrate the evening. I still have dirty dishes to clean up, but my body has been telling me to take a break!!! maybe the fairies will have mercy and clean up all those dirty dishes!!!

Getting ready to call it a night as I have to drive to Little Rock tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to it. I hope I get the Letter from my Dad since he is sending me money for gas. I have to get there as I have a Doctors Appointment.

Up early to check the snow condition....no snow last night so no plowing today. Good thing as we suffered another fleet fracture yesterday and I have to repair one of our plows this morning.
