Hello all! Well where do I start? My very best friend here in AZ has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. She has no idea how she has acquired this. In the mean time she is freaking out big time and her doctor's appt is on her birthday, September 18. She found out she had this by giving blood!

I would appreciate your prayers as well. I went to doc #1 this week and he told me I had all the symptoms of uterine cancer..Sheesh! he could have been more diplomatic! unsure.gif I see the GYN on Monday and go from there. I really dread all this, but what are you gong to do? My grandmother died of uterine cancer and so I just have deal with whatever, eh?

I would appreciate your prayers for both me and Becky. Thanks!

Prayers for the blessing of health, prayers for the blessing of peace.

May God wrap His loving arms around you both and hold you fast. Rest in His presence. Feel His arms. Know you are loved. Know you are safe. Know you are dear to many.

Rose, for you and your friend both I wish the best, starting out with the gift of calm trust in God, in your expert care givers, in your own strength, and in all the people who care about you. We'll be right here with hugs and a celtic song or two, any time you call.

Many thanks everyone. I told Becky I had the whole world wide web praying for her, she started crying. She is really upset..much more than I am about my own issue. I figure..well God is in control and He will do what he will do, eh? However, I will admit that I am a huge wimp too! when I go to see the GYN on Monday, I am sure I will be in babyhood to the max...especially if he tells me anything negative..EEP! unsure.gif Give me a pacifier!

Hugs to y'all, Rosemary

Rose, I have been in the same situation recently. So I know that words usually fail here but be sure that I know what you are going through at the moment; I'm feeling with you and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rose, my prayers are with you and your friend. Let us all know how things go on Monday. Remember the women with the blood issue? All she had to do is touch His garments and she was healed. With His stripes we are healed. God bless you my dear friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hug.gif

Rose, tell your friend that Hep C is not always the devastating disease that it is supposed to be. Know a couple people who had it, but after treatment (for a couple years) they now have no sign of it. Newer drugs are doing great things.

Cancer scares the heck out of me, but if caught early, they are doing amazing things. Will keep both of you in my prayers.

e took the words out of my mouth!! the one that i would add is prayers for patience and to be strong of body and mind....

there is an old hymn that goes "god will take care of you, through all the day, in every way.."

Hello all. I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind thoughts, words and prayers. Gabby, I had no idea about yourself and you will be in my heart, thoughts and prayers as well.

Well today was one big day for me! LOL I am such a wimp. I had this horrible panic attack. When I got up this morning to go see the GYN, I had vertigo so bad I could hardly stand up. I was like..what the heck is this? My hubby said, I bet your having a panic attack. So I looked up vertigo in my medical books and low and behold it said one of the symptoms of panic disorder is vertigo!

I saw the nurse practitioner today. She is going to cut to the chase and seek out the very worse scenario first...a woman after my own heart! She is having me come in this Wednesday for a uterine biopsy to rule out the worse first and go from there. EEP! I hear this is painful! It is always scary when you have scary things happen to you, but then have to go to a whole new doctor/practice makes me all the more anxious. I fear they will minimize everything and send me home as a hysterical woman! Women get this a lot! But not this practice. They are going towards it all very aggressively first and go from there. However, she was very encouraging, reassuring and positive, so I felt better when I left....and the vertigo left me as soon as I left the appointment! See what a wimp I am? unsure.gif rolleyes.gif

My friend, Becky, on the other hand does not see her doctor till September 18th. Of course she has her good and bad days worrying about herself. CarolinaScotsman, I will tell Becky of your news of the Hep C. She has been reading the internet too much...but then so I am I! That can get you into big trouble! Many thanks and hugs to all. I will keep you posted.
