I have received some emails about people having problems listening with the new player window. This player technology allows people to listen to Highlander Radio without the need for an external mp3 media player. It downloads a small plug-in and starts the stream up upon clicking the ?listen? link.

This plug-in may not work for every browser or browser configuration. Especially if your security settings are preventing plug-ins or other browser settings may interfere. To overcome this issue, please configure the player window to launch an external player.

If you have any problems or questions, please post them here.

I had to go through the process twice to get the player to work - it was not a problem with your webpage or software, it was just that I had to tinker with the choices I selected a bit first...once I figured out what I did wrong, it was easy as pi!

Thats good to know. I think it is much easier than what was there before, although I should give links right to the stream for those that do not have windows.

One question for broadband users. Do you think we should have the broadband stream public on shoutcast.com? I noticed that 20 listener slot fills up fast. I would rather have the people that visit the site get first dips on the slots. It would just be a matter of making that stream (broadband) private to this website.

Thoughts?
