O my gosh! I'm excited!! Only 12 more hours! I wish I was there to go with you looking! I forgot to tell you I got a $278.00 parking ticket last time I was there. I parked down from the castle on the main drag. I didn't see any no parking sign. But I didn't notice the loading zone sign. I didn't catch that one. So it really cost me once I got home.. ouch! Be careful where you park! I've learned after that one that I only park in designated parking lots. Went to McDonald's across from the Castle and to the Museum there next to the castle. Great day but hated the ticket! Boo hoo!
Gosh I'm so excited! Who ever said I had patience, they lied! Annabelle
That's one expensive ticket! I know exactly where you mean, I always park by the river though and walk across the bridge since there are always spaces, whereas by the castle there aren't so many. Shame the visit was spoiled by that
Sorry. I couldn't find anywhere that sold it, in any size. But I only had an hour to search so on Monday (or Tuesday if not open on Monday) I'm going to phone the Culloden Visitor Centre and see if anyone there (maybe the same person you asked) knows where this place could be in Inverness that sells prints of the painting. Really sorry for getting your hopes up that you'd hear something today.
I appreciate your trying to find the print for me. Culloden Battle Field visitors center is the only place I can think of that will know where to purchase a copy of the print... gosh I hope they will know of a place...breaks my heart not to be able to find this but I appreciate everyone trying to help me with this project.... my sincere thanks for all of the efforts...hope you'll be able to get some information from the visitors center.
