I've been touring the world at our local liquor store but haven't hit a lot of the U.S. beers. Unfortunately, a lot of the selection is the large brewery crap. Some of my recent favourites from elsewhere Youngs Double Chocolate Stout by Youngs & Co. I recently tried: Woodstock Inn's "Pigs Ear " brown ale and enjoyed it! GREAT Smokey flavor! Lazy Magnolia's "Southern Pecan " Great brown ale. I would use this in marinades for chicken and fish. It is a little on the bitter side but the nutty flavor makes up for it.
