Has anyone had the pleasure of partaking of this wonderful Ale?
It has become one of my favorite ales.

I just saw the post so I'm answering now (better late than never). I've been touring the world at our local liquor store but haven't hit a lot of the U.S. beers. Unfortunately, a lot of the selection is the large brewery crap.

Some of my recent favourites from elsewhere

Youngs Double Chocolate Stout by Youngs & Co. Brewery in England
London Porter by Fuller Smith & Turner again in England
All offerings from the Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery in Ontario, Canada

I'll have to trust you on the Long Trail Ale until I make it down that way or the Ale makes its way up here.

My oldest daughter gave me a subscrition to a beer club...

I recently tried:

Woodstock Inn's "Pigs Ear " brown ale and enjoyed it! GREAT Smokey flavor!

Lazy Magnolia's "Southern Pecan " Great brown ale. I would use this in marinades for chicken and fish. It is a little on the bitter side but the nutty flavor makes up for it.

I do like it very much as well Shawdows.
However, my favorite from Long Trail is their Blackbeary Wheat. Fantastic!
They have a great variety:

Yes the variety is great, but my favorite is still the ale.

If you can get the other two ales I mention above you will be plesantly surprised.
