Wow, this is a good topic to think about. Since I am a product of the television generation, I could probably list a hundred obscure shows that I enjoyed. Some, I'm compelled to watch whenever they come on even though I've probably seen the episode a hundred times. Many are already listed by others so I'll just list a few more:

Magnum PI
JAG
The Guns of Will Sonnett
Stingray
Fireball X-15
The Green Hornet
I own all the Get Smart DVD's
MacGuyver
Combat
Twelve O'Clock High
Room 222
The Mod Squad
The Rookies
Adam-12
Dragnet
The Rifleman
Robin Hood
Great Caeser's Ghost....Superman
The Big Valley
Any Son's of Hercules Movie
Daniel Boone
Wanted: Dead or Alive
Okay, that's enough....

I love the series "26 Men" it ran on ABC for a short 2 years but was the true stories of the Arizona Rangers, and I saw every episode, though in re-run. I was too young to recall them first run.

This was a great refresher topic. It's amazing the old shows that you once loved to watch, that you have somehow forgot about. I believe evryone has just about covered tham all. Although, I am quite fond of the "old" cartoons that used to play on Saturday mornings. I feel sorry for my kids and the stuff that they put on their now. Although I guess they'll say the same about the next generation. I also liked the original Superman series and Abbott and Costello they played every Sunday morning locally in my area. Great to come home after church and watch those.

Aye Bozo was scary to many, but he reminded me of a neighbor I had who was quite funny and was bald bit had bright red hair.

The tv series that I love is "Robin of Sherwood" from BBC. I remember watching it when I was little with my family and we had such warm memories. I had to break down and get the box set on DVD- although there are only 2 sets. I have had them for about a year now and I can't bring myself to watch the last episode. I feel fine living in denial.

Ah now, dearie, grab a beer and go ahead and take the plunge. It'll be good for you. Then you have something to look forward to by starting them all over again... biggrin.gif
