QUOTE (Herrerano @ Jan 30 2004, 07:51 AM)
We are expecting another cold snap down here. Temperatures may fall slightly below 100 F today. Sunshine expected until April at least.

To paraphrase Dr. Evil, "It's frickin' cold up here!" In the last couple of weeks, us poor shleps in the northern Detroit 'burbs have had high temps of 10 F. Altogether we probably have about 2 feet of snow. It has not gone above 25 degrees since mid-December. w00t2.gif

Am I whining? You bet your sweet shutup.gif I am!!!

From the Weather Underground for Tarzana, CA, USA:
Current Conditions Updated: 12:51 PM PST on January 30, 2004
Observed at Van Nuys, California
Temperature 67 °F / 19 °C, Humidity 33%
Wind Calm, Pressure 30.02 in / 1016 hPa (Falling), Conditions Partly Cloudy

According to WU, this is, like, so totally normal for this time of year here, dude. smile.gif No change in sight for the next few days either, darn it; some rain would be nice.

--------------------
Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

Well, my day's shot. There's a 20 car pileup on the Whitemud freeway, which is my way home. Two Trasfers jacknifed and all. Now I've got to try the loto that is the Yellowhead to get home.

... currently it's kinda overcast, sun trying to peek thru and it's also quite muggy, temp' probably around 20 degrees Celsius or so. Had a nice drop of rain over the last 24 hours, first decent rain for almost a month, and very welcome it is, too, cos the pasture was certainly getting on the short side, and milk production was starting to take a dip.

8.8 degrees F and in my world that is cold with about 3 inches of snow on the ground. The weather has been really cold and snowy this week, school has been cancelled 3 days.

My good Lady and I took a little drive. Got fresh picked oranges, took a walk on the beach. It's terrible out there, I had short sleeves on all day.

Well here in the desert it is always more warm than it is in most places! It has been in the mid 40s at night and in the mid 60's during the day. Nice weather for us as we are used to tripple digit temps. smile.gif

07.30 on Saturday morning, and the sun is so intense it kinda makes my eyes hurt.

Colder then you could imagine last night, I think with the fan going and all it got down to about 75F. BRRRRRR! I know at one point I thought momentarily about covering up with a sheet but then drifted back to sleep.

Well, more of the same expected until about April or so.

It feels like we are having a heat wave today.

Temperature at 9 degrees F and wind chill factor at -5 degrees F. tongue.gif

Well compared to what it has been, it is a heat wave. wink.gif
