We've just added a lottery to the game. This option is under the General Menu.

Are the five columns meant to be just like any other lottery and allowing you to pick your 5 numbers? And I guess the pot depends on the number of tickets bought/sold...?

Posted by: CelticRadio 29-Aug-2008, 06:24 PM
We've changed a few things about the lottery.

First, tickets now only cost 100 gold. The numbers have been reduced to 10 numbers for each column.

For each ticket purchased 1 worker is added to the pot. If no one wins the pot then it carries over to the next lottery and so forth until someone wins!

So what happens if someone had already bought a lottery ticket before it was changed? Do they get that thousand gold back, can it be exchanged for new tickets or is it just gone for good?

As you've probably guessed, I bought one. rolleyes.gif

Hee hee, me too obviously, and I was wondering the same thing. I'd take either ten shots, or the credit. I'm totally new to the game, so at this point I'm indifferent.

The lottery would be better if those were trained workers smile.gif. That way instead of winning a butch of kids out of high school that don't know how to do anything you have seasoned employee's that already know how to run the flat grill.

Where can I find the latest lottery numbers for the drawing which I think was Sept. 11th? Sometimes I can't see for looking. unsure.gif

Posted by: CelticRadio 14-Sep-2008, 10:13 PM
To view the results of the last lottery, go to the lottery in the gaming menu and select "view results of last lottery."

Thats a great suggestion (adding trained workers). We could probably add a wide range of booty to the lottery. Also, we plan on make the odds of winning alot better. Maybe 200 to 1. One of the many changes/enhancements that will be coming up!

thanks CelticRadio. I found it!

I'm wondering when the next lottery will be! The one that is showing is September 4th and closed September 11. The winning numbers were 1,2,3,4,7 and had no winners!

How many free workers is that now?

Posted by: McRoach 27-Sep-2008, 09:57 PM
Is that going to be drawn in the next couple of days? Evertime I have checked it the message says it will be drawn soon. Going on the game timeline, "soon" has been over 3-4 years now.

How often is the drawing going to be? yawn.gif

When is the next Lottery?

Posted by: maggiemahone1 07-Oct-2008, 08:03 PM
if by some great stroke of luck someone has the winning lottery ticket and wins workers, can they be auctioned off for money, food or wood?

A lottery has been created. We will try to have a lottery every week or so. We might reduce the odds in winning, maybe less numbers.
