Awesome I love the new music. I have been listening at work for sometime now and enjoy every minute. I can't get enough. By the way, can you play some Brobdingnagian Bards. I love em.

QUOTE (Macfive @ 16-May-2004, 02:59 PM)

[*]Rise - Posing as Human (Be sure to request the track 'Posing as Human' - Powerful!)

I finally heard this play, and didn't quite get a good listen the first time around. I went to their website looking for lyrics and found a free DL of the song; WOW!

Ever notice how some of the best songs about such subjects are the ones that don't wrap what they are saying in symbolism and just come right out with it? Now symbolism is a good thing, and certainly makes one's job easier when wandering the mists, but this is certainly clearer without smile.gif

A right out, streight up wake up call for all the things ppl might gripe about in the Politics thread. Doesn't tend to take sides either, there's lines there attacking everyone from every side.

Great song! smile.gif I have loaded it in, and added it to my main library, and added the CD to my to-buy list... If I could think of some others on that list atm, I might buy some of them. This CD was basically on my list already, almost bought it on the spot! Kindof torn between using the Amazon links on the site (Like to contribute to HR, but hate Amazon) or using the Rise website as I did with "Uncertain Wonders", and bypassing Amazon.

"Can you tell me why it's wrong
To say some things inside a song
but fine to burn a girl to death
because of something someone read"

man, I've got it in my ears and in my head! it's becomming yet another earworm to infest my mind biggrin.gif walkman.gif note.gif note.gif
