I may have missed this topic on another thread but.... has anyone else read or seen the documentary Celtic Tides: Traditional music in a New Age

I found it in my local library database. As soon as I opened it up Iknew it was going to be a winner. A brief history of the Celtic peoples is followed by a very well researched book with many[U]references by Paddy Moloney, Loreena McKennit, Cookie Rankin, Karen Matheson, Mary Jane Lamond, .......

Photos, Lyrics, stories, anecdotes, beer (just kidding), but you get the point cool.gif

It is written by Martin Melhuish and published by Quarry Music Books. Putumayo World music apparently has a series titled Celtic Tides on DVD/VHS that go along with the book.

Anyhoo I highly recommend it.
