I am trying to find out a way to connect to IRC via a page and I thought that you (mac5) used a Java-Applet. Do you know how to do it? (can you tell me?)

A good friend and his band set up a forum and I created the irc channel, now we need a way for others to connect to that channel.

Yes, a good java applet is jpilot. You can use it for free, but it has a registration method. It is fairly easily to configure, but you need a web server or hosting account to store it on.

BTW, we have a temp chat room setup on our front page now. Chat now. It's not the greatest and the colors look weird, but it works fast if people want to chat live time instead of the forum.

"Puck" as in hockey puck. I say that 'cause I'm trying to give up swearing for Lent.

I like the way John Wayne swears - sit through any of his westerns and count how many times he says "every mother's son of you" - as in "Now I want every mother's son of you to get back on your horses and deliver this message to Calitas for me!"

Puck is good, shicken is good, so is "sh-sh-shaving cream" usually said when children are present. Of course they think we adults are all crazy. :p
