| Russia has now challenged the U.S. Dollar and China is promising loans to central Asian countries. Russia wants to dethrone the Dollar as the global currency. after what we did to them and their economy in Afghanistan years ago, it appears they want to return the "favor." Recently the performance of the Dollar has been a roller coaster ride. There is much speculation re: it's value and potential inflation. We here are paying, even now, in higher gasoline, food and other prices. I suspect this will be a long fight. Slàinte, Patch |

| As long as the dollar doesn't become the next Peso or Yen. 1,000 a gallon for gas seems a bit steep for my budget. |
