Excellent little festival. I drove 2 hours to go to this last year. Still can't believe the town didn't support this more. They have no clue what they missed.
Tartan Terrors were funny and entertaining. Wyndfall was a big surprise that I had never seen before. Their music can be found here on CR.
Also, the vendors that were there, were not your typical Celtic vendors and were a good mix. Not the same old stuff you see at most festivals.
And where else can you go at a Celtic Festival and get a half hour Fireman's Parade.
Come on Hughestown, get off your butts and support your own firehouse!!!
BRING ON THE JELLO SHOTS.
I suggested to Raven about a month ago, that he should contact this festival and see if they could get Arminta booked and get some east coast exposure. That could be how this thread came about. What say you Mikel?
I'm not doing any festivals this year. I've decided to spend the year designing new jewellery pieces. I have however, added the festival to the list of events on my website. Good luck with the festival and I hope that some traffic comes your way from my website.
Where is this guys? I tried to acces the map from the website, but only got a photo.

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner

Lady E, it's the exit after the Scranton Airport, heading south. Follow that road for about 2 miles and when you see a shopping center on the left, make the next right and follow that up the hill to the church. Go another 1/4 mile and the firehouse grounds are on the right.
You can always e-mail the firehouse and get more detailed directions. I really didn't have any problem finding the place and I drove in from New Jersey.
an autograph isn't so bad...he could have asked to take a peek under the kilt and then you'd really have to wonder....
then again if I was going I'd ask for a lil peek but that's just me.....

I figured I would have to get your autograph first, in order to get Peckery's autograph. I really wanted his, since he's the real star of the band. Just "ask Peckery" and I'm sure he will tell you that.
