May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Wow, so many things! Wolfstone's "Gillies" Wicked Tinkers just about anything -- Wallop the Cat makes me roll on the floor Loreena McKennit's The Highwayman Great Big Ocean's Mary Mack Rise "Cold Glencoe", "I will see my love again" Runrig Summer Walkers, Loch Lomond anytime somebody gets going with just pipes and a bodhran
and....Seek Up, Dave Matthews Band(not celtic but a great song and musician)

May your glass be ever full. May the roof over your head be always strong. And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead. ~ Irish Toast
Just heard Clan an Drumma's "Sgt. MacKenzie". Always liked it, but just had it hit me in a very moving way -- I just got done reading today's "Scotsman" and another report on the casualties among the Black Watch stationed in Fallujah.
Oh, man! I'm adding Enter the Haggis "To the Quick." Just heard it, dunno how I've missed it so far. There is something so retro about that wowwy bass and rude backbeat, and then to throw the pipes in there! I'm undone.
I have been listening to celtic music for several years and the bagpipe is one of my favorite instruments( obviously i have 4 or 5 different cds of nothing but bagpipes, much to he chagrin of my wife). But i also enjoy Seven Nations, especially The Ballad of Calvin Croiser and Heroes in Tennis Shoes. Jed Marum's Fighting Tigers of Ireland. The Young Dubliners Rocky Road to Dubliln, A Nation Once Again and Molly Malone. Go Lassie Go by anyone. Glengharry Boys Flower of Scotland and Nancy Whiskey. Also since I've started listening to this station I've found Rise's I Will See My Love Again, Ellis Sisters Lord of the Dance. As you can see i tend to lean more towards the irish side of the celtic music but i do love all celtic music.
