can anyone explain to me why my post ratings have gone down? Yesterday I was at 92 percent, as of now I'm down to 86 percent maybe some evil warlock came along and put a curse on it!!!
Mine post rating dropped as well, I was in a couple different forums that require a post with only 3 words so I assumed that it may have dropped from that but maybe there is something else that is causing the drop.
I don't know that it was a warlock but something caused a drop.
Did either of you make any short posts or off topic comments anywhere recently?

Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools. -- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)
Someone else mentioned 25 words seemed to be the right amount per post. It is just that the games in which a single word response seems to be detrimental to the post rating system.
Yeah & there are times the Post Rating Percentage Amount is in your profile in MK and then sometimes, there is no Percentage Amount, just "Post Rating". It'll all be figured out soon, to bae shuuurrr
Do the posts in the clan forum count in our ratings?

A new question on the post rating. Just how offen does this change? I'm asking because last night when I was on it was 87, when I got home this morning it was 88 and just know after doing one post it went to 89. I have never seen my change like that.
I thought it just did at night.
Every night our systems will evaluate all posts made for the day and aggregate the total posts for the previous 60 days. A target goal (as determined by Celtic Radio) is used as a threshold value which if the member meets or exceeds results in a 100% perfect post rating. This threshold value evaluates if the post is meaningful and adds value to the community forum. Values below the threshold value will be assigned a percentage of the target post goal. Celtic Radio may adjust the threshold value at any time in order to help foster discussions and conversations in our community forums.
Anyone else having problems with their post rating as of late? My Post rating has been on a downward spiral over the last 4-5 days and it seems like the more I post the lower it goes. Have my writing skills really gotten so bad? I went about a week without any new posts but it's still getting worse and I haven't been short posting or off topic (that I know of) in any forums.
Can a moderator of a topic influence or control the rating if you post something they don't like?

To my knowledge no moderators has the power to influence on any members "post rating" system. It's all computer system related.
Read the link about the post rating system that Stevenpd post. It explains quite clearly how it works for the members.
Say, one member post at the same forum all the time and his posts are only a few words in response that is probably why his/her posting rates gets down.
Posting interesting subjects that are beneficial to the members will have a positive effect on your post rating.Otherwise just a few post here and there once in a while doesn't increase one's rating. An advice would be to start a new interesting topic in any forum that would benefit the other members of the site. And of course, once the topic is started one should always keep replying to members that shows interests in the topic. That is what the "post rating" system is all about.
I never had any problems with mine. It's always been at 100% and never went down since the beginning. (touching wood)
Hope it clear things up a bit for you.

That is helpful thanks LOA. I guess I should start a few topics or post in several different forums.
Seems odd a computer program can deem what is an interesting topic or thoughtful reply though, that's why I was unsure if there might be a outside influence.
