Uwe Gronau is from Germany where he apparently is fairly well-known for having many recordings. This was the first of his I have heard, and it is a winner. It also is one of the more eclectic mostly instrumental recordings I have listened to in several years. He goes from rocking, almost prog-rock to ambient with stops in between. There is new age stuff, solo piano and spacey music. This is great chill-down music for after the boogie. He is a keyboardist with a couple of guitarists special-guesting on a couple of cuts. Quite inventive and worthwhile. It's a double CD.
