Celtic Radio Community > Celtic Radio > New Security Feature

We have added a new layer of security for all Celtic Radio accounts that can be enabled or disabled through your account settings:

http://www.celticradio.net/php/forums/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=04

Hostname security is designed for those members who only use their Celtic Radio accounts from 1 computer connected to only 1 internet provider. It is not designed for those members who access their accounts from multiple locations (i.e. home, work, internet cafe, etc ).

It works this way: Our system will record your individual hostname as assigned by your ISP. If someone trys to log into your account from other than your own home location, then your account will be locked and you and Celtic Radio will be notified. We can then update your password and unlock your account!

To enabled hostname security, visit the link above and check off the box to enabled another layer of security to your account on Celtic Radio.
